Youth Online is a new and exciting chat space for young people with a hearing loss, aged 12 to 20years.
Chat topices include Future careers, making new friends, everyday life, school talk, cochlear group, youth club, share ideas for youth events, and up to date news flash.

Counselling can be available online privately, by arrangement. It is a free service and no limit on sessions. Just email

A dedicated Youth Project Worker is currently researching the needs of young Deaf people in Queensland.

Kids Helpline, a service of BoysTown, has been supporting children and young people for more than 17 years.
To help make sure our service is available to young people who are deaf or hearing impaired, we are trialling an email counselling service just for you. This is to find out if email counselling is a useful way for us to help you.
If you are between the ages of 12 and 25 years, are deaf or hard of hearing and are interested in talking with a counsellor through email, please contact us by emailing icanhearyou@kidshelp.com.au
When you contact us we will check you want to be part of this trial and may also ask you for some information about yourself. We treat your information as confidential. If at any time you decide that you don’t want to be part of the trial just tell us.
